MAPS

Four large .gif files reference all of the likely Ultra-Prominences on the continent (note that these maps have not yet been updated to reflect our recent map-checking efforts, therefore there are many small differences, and the prominence values in the legend of the map are considerably less reliable than those on our lists.  Nonetheless, the maps should serve their purpose of locating the relative locations of peaks.

Northern South America - Colombia, Venezuela, Northern Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru south to Nevado Huascaran, including the Galapagos.
Central South America - Peru south of Nevado Huascaran, Bolivia, and Chile / Argentina south to Cerro Mercedario.
Southern South America - The Andes from Cerro Aconcagua south to Tierra Del Fuego, including all of Patagonia.
Brazilian Highlands
- Three ultra-prominences in the Brazilian Highlands in Eastern South America (i.e. São Paulo, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais).

Each map includes numbered summits.  The numbers correspond to the earlier provisional rankings by prominence.  Also on the maps are numerous unmarked red triangles that represent likely summits with 1,000-1,499 meters prominence (3,281-4,921 ft).  Also note that the two ultras on the Galapagos are no on the maps.
